Compliance
Gift values and compliance
For firms covered by FINRA Rule 3220, the gift limit is $300 per person per year, effective March 30, 2026, up from $100. Small promotional items that carry the firm's logo, such as pens, umbrellas or tote bags, are excluded from the limit when their value is substantially below it. Gifts are generally valued at cost, excluding tax and delivery. (Source: FINRA Regulatory Notice 26-05)
We itemize cost per recipient on every quote so your compliance team can record gift values easily. Your own firm policy and compliance team have the final word.
