National Police Week runs May 9 to 15 in 2027, and includes Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15. Departments and cities recognize their officers, and the week also honors officers who died in the line of duty, so recognition should be respectful in tone.

Businesses thanking local officers
Public employees often have gift limits. Ask the department what it can accept before you order. Food for a shift or a donation to a department fund is sometimes easier than individual gifts.
Tone
Keep designs dignified. Memorial items for fallen officers should follow the department's guidance.
