EMS Week runs May 16 to 22 in 2027. Agencies, hospitals and fire departments use it to thank EMTs, paramedics and dispatchers. Crews work around the clock from several stations, so gifts need to reach every shift, and apparel needs to respect uniform rules.
Gift ideas by budget
| Budget per person | Ideas |
|---|---|
| Under $25 | Insulated tumbler, beanie, EMS Week t-shirt |
| $25 to $50 | Insulated lunch or cooler bag, crewneck or hoodie for off duty |
| $50 to $100 | Duty backpack, soft shell jacket, fleece blanket |
Check uniform rules first
Many agencies limit what can be worn on duty. Off duty apparel such as hoodies and t-shirts avoids the question. If you want on duty items, ask the agency for approved colors and logo placement.
Deliver to every station and shift
Pack by station with a count on each carton, and include dispatch centers, which are easy to miss.
Hospitals thanking EMS crews
Emergency departments often thank the crews that bring patients in. Insulated tumblers or cooler bags at the ambulance bay are a simple way to do it.
